Angie dePuydt from Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses and LeeAnn Cartier Holistic Nutritionist give their recommendations for feeds and products in the USA, reminding you not to feed grain or high sugar/starch mixes.
Supplements/balancers: Total Supplements, Madbarn Amino Trace Plus, AZ Copper Complete , Omneity Premix , AZ Copper Complete ,
Herbs: Hilton Herbs Cleaver & Marigold (purchase in bulk through The Healing Barn ) or from Hilton Herbs
Feed: Timothy grass pellets (usually available from your local feed store). Just a cup or two for good doers, soaked, to mix supplements into.
For adding condition, you can feed Coolstance Copra (coconut meal) or cooked linseed, remembering to balance with calcium carbonate (because of the unbalanced calcium:phosphorous ratio). Instructions for balancing here.
Equivalent to UK “chaff” to be fed by the cup/handful, dampened, not according to the forage replacement guidelines (unless actually being used for forage replacement).

Ad-lib forage is essential. Use small-holed haynets to slow down greedy eaters.
Shampoo: Veterinary Care Clinical Formula Antiparastic and Antiseborrhic Shampoo (Chewy Online). Selsun Blue Shampoo (any grocery or pharmacy).
Topicals (to soften crusts, rehydrate skin): Equiderma Skin Lotion (buy through their website or tack stores online). Cetraben Emollient (buy through Amazon).
Mite Treatment:
LimePlus or Vet Basic Lime Sulphur Dip (buy through Chewy Online or Amazon)
Cydectin cattle pour-on 0.5% at 1.5mg/kg body weight (not suitable for youngstock or malnourished horses). POM.
Ivermectin pour-on at 1mg/kg body weight. POM.
Clippers for sensitive horses: Liveryman Harmony Plus , Wahl KMC+
