Chiers) researchers looked into the prevalence of feather mites (chorioptes bovis) and CPL in Belgian Draft horses (156) vs Belgian Warmblood horses (142).

Prof. D. Berens Von Rautenfeld of the Vodder Schule trains human lymphoedema therapists in equine lymphology and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT). The Vodder Schule has four stages of learning and it is only parts three and four that allow treatment of lymphoedema. So it makes sense to always check a therapist’s credentials to ensure they are qualified to actually perform lymphoedema care.
