Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses use Lime Sulphur Dip which is a CPL-friendly alternative to the traditional oil and sulphur. It is made from calcium hydroxide, sulphur and water and can help prevent and treat feather mites. Lime Sulphur Dip has not been found to completely eradicate mites but is still useful as part of your CPL horse’s management. You can read Fenway’s protocol and success stories via the webpage below.
